MERCURY CARBON COWLING 500R RACING ENGINE COVER OUTBOARD

Give your Mercury 500R racing series engine a makeover with enhanced cooling and weight-reduction benefits!

Using the highest-quality Pre-Preg Dry Carbon fiber laid within our aluminium mould, we present a full 1-piece carbon engine cowling. From a visual and performance point we have altered the design on the top of the cowl, allowing for airflow to enter and exit the engine efficiently, leading to lower operating temperatures, thus allowing the engine to reach its targeted boost pressures and hold peak output for longer periods of time. 

Transfer of hardware from the original to our Carbon Cowl:

Within the cover, we have added ABS plastic-injected brackets with built-in thread hole locations, as per the original cowling. This allows for a simple swap of the original hardware into the inside of our cowling, meaning the cover will function and secure identically to your original engine cover. 

Weight Saving:

11 pounds of weight saving per unit over the factory Cowl.
